My Favorite Nutrisystem Foods {Week 5} #NSNation

So now that I’ve been on Nutrisystem for a little over a month, I’ve gotten to sample a wide variety of the foods that they offer. I have to say that I was surprised many times by how incredibly good some of the food is. I mean- it’s “diet food”, and it’s all either shelf-stable or frozen. As someone who is used to cooking fresh every night, I was skeptical. But I genuinely love a lot of the foods! Below is a list of some of my favorites for each meal:

Breakfast:

Chocolate Chip Scones

Cinnamon Bun Bar

Lunch:

Cheese Tortellini

Three Cheese Pasta with Chicken

Dinner:

Vegetable Lasagna

Thick Crust Pizza

Dessert:

Golden Pound Cake

Zesty Herb Snack Mix

This is just a small sample of the food available on the plan; these just happen to be my personal favorites. If these look good but you want to try them before you commit to the whole plan, you can buy the Nutrisystem products A La Carte!

This week, my weight went up a bit, but I expected it after a 4 lb. loss last week that I’m pretty sure was a fluke anyway {due to not feeling well the day before & skipping meals}. Overall, I’m still down 4 lbs. total, but I have to say that I feel like it’s more than that, if that makes sense. It’s “just” four pounds, but my clothes are all way loser & I can both see and feel body parts getting more “tight”. I really wish I would have taken my measurements before I started but I am going to take them today so that I can reference them going forward- especially on weeks like this one when the scale has been a bit of a disappointment.
