Review & Giveaway: Sniffle Buddies!

Ah, Spring. Flowers are in full bloom, the sun’s hot rays are offset by a gentle breeze, &kids everywhere are… sneezing.

At least, my kid is.

Shane, unfortunately, got my allergies- the kind that make your eyes start watering on St. Patrick’s Day & don’t let up until Labor Day. The kind that make it impossible for you to meet your playgroup at the park because realistically, that one-hour of playtime translates into three days of nose blowing.

While the Sniffle Buddies can’t cure allergy symptoms, they sure make them a lot easier to deal with!

Sniffle Buddies are a cute & soft new way to keep your little one’s snot from winding up on their shirt, pants, chin, hair, socks, etc…. if you have a toddler, you know it’s entirely possible for these things to happen. While nose blowing is still optimal, many toddlers & preschool aged children aren’t exactly perfect at this task- and even those who are can have nasal drip, especially with allergies.

This is where Sniffle Buddies come in!  They are little wristbands that you can get in all kinds of colors that are made from bamboo and organic cotton materials. {Making them antibacterial AND super soft!} They are ideal for playtime when your little one is least likely to stop & ask for a tissue- just let them play & wipe on their Sniffle Buddies {saving their sleeves!} &then when playtime is over, grab it by the velcro part, turn it inside out, and transport it to the washer. When you get to the washing machine, just turn it back right-side-out & pop it in!

Tips for Using Your Sniffle Buddies {from SniffleBuddies.com}:

(1) Use Sniffle Buddies during playtime.

(2) NEVER blow your nose into Sniffle Buddies, sniffles only please!

(3) Use Sniffle Buddies in conjunction with proper tissue use and hand washing.

(4) Change Sniffle Buddies often, but remember not to handle it by the soiled surface.

(5) Detach soiled Sniffle Buddies from toddler’s wrists after playtime, handling by the velcro closures only.

(6) For used bands, invert the direction of the loop and reseal velcro closures - housing the used surface on the inside.

(7) Transport used Sniffle Buddies to the wash with the loop inverted. Flip right-side out before washing.

(8) Wash Sniffle Buddies in warm water and dry on medium heat.

(9) Stock up on Sniffle Buddies so you’ll always have a clean one to offer for playtime.

(10) Remind children, and adults, that germs are NOT for sharing so please “Don’t touch my Sniffle Buddies“!

Sniffle Buddies is one of those companies that is just doing everything right in my opinion. In addition to being made from organic ingredients, they help to prevent countless tissues from ending up in the trash, and Sniffle Buddies are completely washable & are washing-machine safe even, making them very reusable. AND, Sniffle Buddies gives 10% of their proceeds to a new charity every month. Current & previous organizations helped include The Easter Seals Disability Services {April}, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation {March}, The Autism Research Institute {February}, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital {January}. Told you, they totally rock.

Wanna know why ELSE they rock?
